Vannevar Labs
Vannevar Labs builds defense software for intelligence and national security missions, applying natural language processing and computer vision to foreign-language data for tasks including intelligence collection, maritime domain awareness, and countering foreign disinformation. Its flagship product, Decrypt, is a foreign-text workflow platform for intelligence analysts, and the company is consolidating its tools into an agentic AI platform trained on proprietary adversarial data. Founded in 2019 by CEO Brett Granberg and president Nini Hamrick, who met at Stanford, the company is headquartered in Palo Alto and deploys with US warfighters and federal partners across service branches and combatant commands; its technology has been fielded in joint exercises including Balikatan and Talisman Sabre. Vannevar raised a $75M Series B in January 2023 at a $575M valuation, bringing total funding to roughly $90M.
