Physical-AI company building general-purpose robot foundation models for commercial and industrial environments. Its FutureVision system uses a proprietary Direct Video Action (DVA) architecture that pre-trains on hundreds of millions of internet videos to learn motion and physics, then post-trains on a small amount of robot trajectory data, running a closed-loop observe-predict-act cycle that updates every few hundred milliseconds. Targets manufacturing, logistics, automotive, and ecommerce tasks such as returns processing and assembly-line decanting, and is developing its own robot hardware while planning to license the model to partners. Founded in 2024 by Jagdeep Singh (CEO, former QuantumScape founder), Eric Chan, Gordon Wetzstein, Andrew Wooten, and Changan Chen. Emerged from 18 months of stealth in March 2026 with a $450M Series A led by Premji Invest at a $1.7B valuation, with backers including Khosla Ventures, Mayfield, Temasek, NVIDIA's NVentures, and John Doerr.
