Isomorphic Labs

AI-driven drug discovery company founded by Nobel laureate Sir Demis Hassabis, spun out of Google DeepMind and Alphabet. Building on and beyond the AlphaFold system, Isomorphic Labs develops predictive and generative AI models to accelerate drug design at digital speed. Partners include Eli Lilly, Novartis, and Johnson & Johnson. In March 2025 the company raised $600M in its first external funding round, led by Thrive Capital. In May 2026 it raised a $2.1B Series B, again led by Thrive Capital with participation from Alphabet, GV, CapitalG, MGX, Temasek and the UK's sovereign AI fund, bringing total funding to roughly $2.6B to scale its AI drug design engine and advance therapeutic programs toward the clinic.
