Cresta develops a generative AI platform for contact centers that provides real-time agent assistance, conversation intelligence, quality management, and fully autonomous virtual agents, using large language models and proprietary intent models to deliver guidance in under 200 milliseconds. Founded in 2017 by Sebastian Thrun, Zayd Enam, Tim Shi, and Andre Esteva, the company is headquartered in Palo Alto and led by CEO Ping Wu, a former co-founder of Google's Contact Center AI. Customers include Porsche, Intuit, CarMax, Hilton, Verizon, and Brinks Home. Cresta raised a $125M Series D in November 2024 co-led by World Innovation Lab and the Qatar Investment Authority at a $1.6B valuation, bringing total funding to more than $270M.
