CHAOS Industries develops advanced sensing and detection systems for defense, built around its Coherent Distributed Networks technology, which synchronizes many small radar and communications nodes to billionths of a second so they act as one coherent system. Products include HYDRA hardware nodes and the Vanquish and Astria radar systems for detecting drones, missiles, and aircraft, sold to defense and government customers as hardware plus software licenses. Founded in 2022 and headquartered in Los Angeles, the company is led by co-founder and CEO John Tenet, with former CIA director George Tenet as executive chairman. CHAOS raised a $510M Series D in November 2025 led by Valor Equity Partners at a $4.5B valuation, with 8VC and Accel, bringing total funding to more than $1 billion.
